A Letter to My Clients — Past, Present, and Future

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance our paths have crossed —
or they’re about to.
To my past clients first:I want to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me with one of the biggest financial decisions of your life. Thank you for the phone calls, the questions, the stress, the late nights, and the moments where we had to slow things down and think things through together. Thank you for letting me be part of something that truly mattered to you.
Buying or refinancing a home isn’t just paperwork. It’s hope, pressure, excitement, fear, and responsibility all wrapped into one. Every time someone chooses to work with me, I never forget that I’m being invited into a very real moment in their life — and I don’t take that lightly.
Some of you came to me unsure, overwhelmed, or frustrated by the process. Some of you were excited and ready to move quickly. No matter how you showed up, my goal was always the same: to explain your options clearly, protect your best interests, and never pressure you into a decision.
Many of you have gone a step further and referred friends, family members, and people you care deeply about to me. I want you to know how seriously I take that.
I understand that a referral is NEVER “a lead.” It’s often a loved one, a close friend, a coworker you respect, or someone whose experience matters to you personally. When you make that introduction, you’re putting your own name and trust on the line — and I never forget that.
That’s exactly why every referral you send my way is treated with the same care, patience, and respect I would give to someone in my own circle. I take the time to listen, to explain, and to make sure they feel comfortable and confident — not pressured or rushed. Protecting that trust is just as important to me as earning new relationships.
To anyone reading this who hasn’t worked with me yet — maybe you found my name online, clicked a link, or were sent here by someone you trust — I want you to know this:
If you choose to work with me, I’ll treat your loan the same way I’d want someone to treat my own.
That means:
Taking the time to explain things in plain language
Helping you understand not just a payment, but your options
Being honest, even when the answer isn’t what you hoped for
Making sure you never feel rushed or talked into something that doesn’t make sense for you
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You don’t need to be “ready.” Sometimes the most valuable conversations happen before any decisions are made.
Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, or simply looking for a second opinion, I would be genuinely honored to help — or to point you in the right direction if that’s what’s best.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me so far. And to those I haven’t met yet — I look forward to the opportunity.
Warmly,Al AcostaMortgage Advisor, Ethos Lending
